USS FORRESTAL

On October 22, 2013, All Star Metals, LLC (ASM), a subsidiary of Scrap Metal Services, LLC (SMS), was awarded a contract from the United States Navy to dismantle and recycle the USS Forrestal (ATV 59). As recycling industry leaders, SMS and ASM have the track record and talent to responsibly and efficiently complete this project.

​As President of ASM, Nikhil Shah is responsible for overseeing the dismantling of the USS Forrestal. Mr. Shah has more than 20 years’ experience in the scrap industry and is a certified Compliance, Safety and Health Officer (CSHO) specializing in recycling & remediation of asbestos, lead, PCBs and other hazardous material.
